The Wife’s Story by Ursula K. Le Guin is a story about a woman married to a man who turns out to be a werewolf. In this tale Le Guin reverses the typical werewolf story into the point of view of other wolves. She tells the story in a first person narrative which is very effective. The narrator’s voice in this story changes the ways you will normally respond to any other story. The Wife’s Story is not the typical werewolf story you would expect.In Le Guin’s story she describes a wifes retrospective of what she should have seen in her husband before it was too late.
